I’m Rolland, the author of this blog. I am a husband of a wonderful wife and father of a beautiful daughter. I love God and His Word, and I desire to use the gifts that God gave me to bless the church, and in this case, bless readers with what I believe to be a consistent, biblical, redemptive-historical understanding of the book of Revelation.
Other things about me: I’m a Reformed Baptist and hold to the five solas of the Reformation, that is, sola scriptura, sola fide, sola gratia, solus Christus, and soli Deo gloria. I adhere to the 1689 London Baptist Confession of Faith, partial-preterist when it comes to Revelation, postmillennial in regards to eschatological views, presuppositional in regards to apologetic method, and theonomic in regards to the biblical use of God’s Law in Christian ethics. I’m sure there are other peculiarities that will come up during conversations with fellow believers. All in all, I believe that all of these peculiar views are gleaned from the Scriptures as a result of the consistent application of sola Scriptura.
